About this experience
Enjoy a scenic, relaxed 3-hour guided tour behind the wheel of your own buggy through coastal towns and landscapes in southern Tenerife. The day begins with a brief orientation on vehicle handling and safety equipment. After putting on your helmet and protective goggles, you'll start the engine to set off on a panoramic route led by our professional instructors.
During the tour, we'll travel along back roads visiting areas far from tourist crowds: a route that takes us from Golf del Sur to El Médano, a unique town with a special charm that has maintained a peaceful, family-friendly, and authentic atmosphere. Along the way, we'll discover coastal gems such as Los Abrigos, Las Maretas, and Montaña Roja.
Halfway through the journey, we'll make a 45-to-60-minute stop at an active, traditional Canarian banana farm. Led by a specialized local guide, you'll trade the engine for a walk through the fields to learn about the history, irrigation system, and secrets of traditional banana farming in the Canary Islands. The visit finishes with a tasting workshop where you'll sample freshly harvested bananas, gofio, traditional mojos, and local liqueurs.
After savoring the best of local gastronomy, you'll get back behind the wheel of your buggy for the final leg of the trip, passing through San Miguel, El Roque, and the La Centinela Viewpoint—nearly 800 meters above sea level—where you'll enjoy breathtaking views over the entire southern region and the island's Atlantic coast.

What to bring
- Drivers: Valid, original driving license
- Comfortable clothing, use trousers and closed-toe shoes
Important
- Drivers must be over 18 years old and have a valid driver's license. Temporary or provisional licenses are not accepted
- Children can participate as passengers, as long as they meet the following requirements: Minimum height of 120 cm for 2-seater buggies
- Minimum age of 3 years for 4-seater buggies
- Closed-toe shoes are mandatory to participate in the activity
- Participants under 18 years old must join the activity accompanied by an adult
- Before the activity begins, our company will conduct a driving test to ensure clients can safely operate the buggy. You'll also be provided with a driving contract to sign, in compliance with Spanish Traffic Laws and European Community road safety regulations
- Aggressive or reckless driving, including drifting, spinning, sudden accelerations, or driving outside the areas indicated by the guide, is strictly prohibited. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is also forbidden. Engaging in any of these behaviors will result in immediate exclusion from the activity without compensation
- The whole route is on paved roads
Cancellation
Cancel for free up to 24 hours before the activity pick-up time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, late arrivals, or no-shows will not be refunded.
